STREAMSBOOK DAY 15: HARD TIMES AHEAD
Jesus is preparing His followers to finish His work. He wants them to understand how important their role is, and that their lives will contain much adversity – just as He was encountering. Hard times, when viewed properly, are an asset to a Kingdom follower. Bring on the hard times! Yeah, right.
STREAMSBOOK DAY 16: TRAVELLING COMPANIONS – SEEDS AND SOILS
The core of a fulfilled life is for us to diminish while He increases. This turns upside down the way mankind views life. We scratch and strive to make our way, not recognizing that our King gives us everything we need to live productive, fulfilling Kingdom lives. In this sense the Kingdom is opposite human nirvana. We give to gain. Lose to find. Sacrifice to live. And all the while God stands by to grow in our lives what we could never make happen ourselves. All this makes the “parable of the sower” so astonishing!
