THE BREAD OF LIFE
Again we observe the “Master of teaching metaphor.” The implications of Jesus Himself being food that would sustain a person into eternal life is about as radical as anything ever spoken. This is apparent from the response of the religious leaders who were watching and listening. It is apparent that the entire value system of the Living God is quite different from the beings which He has created.
